The “Resource Management Program” (called the ‘RMP’) was an initiative for digitally controlling the logistics and movement of cargo by sea. While barge owners were able to track their barges movement vis-a-vis tidal restrictions, the RMP also created a systematic & controlled interface between the barge owners and the shippers; wherein the carriage of cargo became further streamlined, transparent, reliable and efficient. The RMP also attempts to ensure that all stakeholders in Goa’s Maritime adventure are given equal & fair opportunity to contribute in its future.
